This camera records cinematic-quality 24fps movie clips with sound up to 720p HD (1280 x 720 pixels) in Motion JPEG format. It offers a 3-inch super-density 920,000-dot color LCD monitor which displays high resolution image. In addition, this monitor has 170 degree wide angle viewing which enables confident image review and movie playback. The Nikon D90 has a built in image sensor cleaning which degrades dust particles from the sensor’s optical low pass filter. This camera also provides 11-point AF system with face priority which delivers sharp pictures in various conditions using the Nikon Scene Recognition System. It features a one button live view which is feature that activates access to 3 contrast detection focus modes including Face Priority AF. The Nikon D90 comes with auto active D-lighting which optimizes details within shadows and highlights as well as tames high contrast situations in real time. It features In-camera image editing which enables changes on the image using fisheye effect, Straighten and Distortion Control as well as D-Lighting, Red-eye Reduction, Image Overlay, Monochrome and more.
