Features

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 features a 10.1 mega-pixel camera with ultra-sensitive CCD which takes high quality photos with low noise generation. It features a 24-60mm f/2.0-2.8 LEICA DC VARIO SUMMICRON lens which allows high resolution photos to be taken while minimizing distortion and artifacts such as chromatic aberration, ghosting and flaring. The MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) in the DMC-LX3 reduces the blurring caused by hand-shake which allows capture of clear images. The Venus Engine IV offers high image quality with advance signal processing by reducing noise to the minimum level and preserves color-changing points at the color borders. This camera features intuitive full manual operation by offering joystick controls which prevents interruption to shooting rhythm. Operating controls are program shift, direct exposure compensation, manual exposure assist, ISO Auto setting in Manual Exposure Mode, Maximum ISO Setting and Minimum Shutter Speed Function. Other modes include Film Mode, Multi Exposure function, Focusing Function, Adjustment Function which controls details of a photo, Intelligent Exposure and Flash Synchronization which captures nightscapes with natural flow of light. The Panasonic DMC-LX3 offers 3.0-inch with 460,000-dot high resolution which allows view for both monitoring when shooting and playing back for results. The Intelligent LCD function detects the light condition and will adjust according to situation that allows appropriate clarity in photo shooting. This camera can record motion images in high-definition (1,280 x 720 pixels at 24 fps). The iA (Intelligent Auto) Modes detect subject movement, offers Face Detection to detect faces in the frame, Intelligent Scene Selector to detect scene conditions, Light Detection to detect the brightness level and AF Tracking to continually track a moving subject and keep it in focus.
