Apple iPod touch 2nd Generation is quite similar to the first generation of iPod touch. In this generation, extra features have been added, such as Genius playlist which adds playlist for the users, and extra games from Apps Store. iPod 2nd generation is equipped with built-in Internet browser; users can access to App Store and iTunes Store via Wi-Fi.

Users can access and download hundreds of games from App Store and play them whenever they want. Apart from that, users can also flip through iPod library by album network, create Genius Playlist on the go and add music to their collection by shopping the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store from any Wi-Fi hotspot. It features a 3.5 inch (diagonal) widescreen Multi-Touch display, 480 x 320 pixels at 163 pixels per inch, for the convenience of movies and TV shows. Users can choose from thousands at the iTunes Store. With built-in Internet browser, users can get rich HTML emails, including attachments, access to directions and traffic reports. It also finds wireless networks automatically and connects users to the Internet. Apart from that, iPod touch 2nd generation supports 480p and 576p component TV out, 19 languages, 34 international keyboard, and 21 dictionaries.
