There are 3 types of storage capacity for users to choose from, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB flash drive, holding up to 1750, 3500, 7000 songs in 128-Kbps (AAC format), 10000, 20000, or 25000 iPod-viewable photos and holds up to 10 hours, 20 hours or 40 hours of video respectively. The frequency response is 20 Hz – 20000 Hz, supporting ACC audio format (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 Kbps – 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF and WAV. As for video, iPod touch supports H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats. Apple iPod touch comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery, capable of playing music up to 36 hours when fully charged and video playback up to 6 hours when fully charged.
