- You can record programs directly off your TV with the optional DVR Station Gen 5 unit.
- You have to buy added software to use some of the functionality and there is a long battery charging time (± 8h)

Archos 605 WiFi features high resolution 4.3 inch touch screen (800 x 480 pixels) display and the highest quality screen in PMP. Users can use the touch screen to operate the device with fingers or stylus. With 30GB, users can store up to 40 movies in MPEG-4, WMV, Protected WMV, MPEG-2, VOB, H.264 (with optional plug in) format, 30000 photos in JPEG, PNG, and BMP formats or 15000 songs in MP3, WAV, WMA and protected WMA. Archos 605 WiFi can be personalized to fit user’s lifestyle. The abundant plug-ins and accessories are available to customize the device the way the users desired. With WiFi technology, users can download content wirelessly and directly their Archos 605 WiFi via Archos Content Portal. Users can also streams movies, TV Show and music that are stored on the PC. Archos 605 WiFi comes in three different types of capacity, 30GB, 80GB and 160GB. The video, photos and music figures above is referring to Archos 605 WiFi 30 GB. Archos 605 WiFi can support up to 17 hours of music playback and 5.5 hours of video playback.
