Microsoft Zune is a brand of digital media players and services sold by Microsoft. It includes portable media players, and Zune software. Zune software features Zune Marketplace with online music, video and podcast store. Microsoft Zune comes in three styles, all of which play music, videos, podcast, display images, and receive FM radio. Microsoft Zune enables users to share files wirelessly with other Zunes via USB cables with Xbox 360s and sync wirelessly with PCs.

Features

There are several types of Zunes players, namely, Zune 30, Zune 4, Zune 8, Zune 16, Zune 80 and Zunes 120. The primarily features of a Zune player is, it enables users to play music, videos, podcast, display images, and FM radio. The size, weights and the storage of Zune varies with storage capacities ranging from 4 GB to 120 GB. Microsoft Zune is WiFi enabled, allowing users to connect at any WiFi hotspot. Microsoft Zune supports MP3 (.mp3), AAC (Low complexity) (.aac, .mp4, .m4a, .m4b, .mov), WMA (.wma); for video: MPEG4 (in .mp4, .m4v and .mov containers), H.264 (in .mp4, .m4v and .mov containers), WMV (.wmv), ASF (.asf); and for still images: JPEG (.jpg).
