The Sony KDL-40W4000 allows movies, photos and games to be screened on a 6.2 megapixel resolution. The images potrayed will be vibrant and its natural colours will come through its LiveColourCreation and x.vColour on its 10 Bit LCD panel. Movies can be watched in its 24p True Cinema. The TV can be utilised into a digitial picture frame with Picture Frame Mode, that is used to display pictures or the six pre-installed images. Digital photographs can be viewed with the USB Photo Viewer and with the use of PhotoTV HD they can be viewed in High Definition quality. The images are enhanced with the BRAVIA Engine 2 picture enhancement technology as well as Advanced Contrast Enhancer. The menu screen is defined with its XrossMediaBar that enables users to browse tv functions. The Sony KDL-40W4000 features the Draw the LIN design concept with its Midnight Sky finish it also has a versatile swivel function. It also features BRAVIA Sync that enables users to control the home cinema with the TV remote.
